Some would say I'm borderline obsessed with fishing and I’d put that down to my grandfather taking me at age 7 or 8. Since then, I've always had fishing in my life. Having served 22 years in the British Army, I’ve fished all over. Rivers, lakes, reservoirs, canals, I don’t mind, as-long-as I’ve got a line in the water. This is when I’m at my happiest. The pursuit of carp is my true passion, big or small, Commons or Mirrors, I'm not bothered. Tracking them down and putting a few on the bank is all that matters.

React to what the carp are willing to give away. Even if it's the slightest show. If you must move location, do it in a heartbeat, don’t be lazy!
