About Marcel

My name is Marcel Bassanello, and I've have been fishing since I was twelve.

In 2013 I started carp fishing and I've been fishing mainly in Germany, coming from an area where there are very large carp.

I prefer to fish large, Lowstocks and I love the challenge of difficult waters.

I have fished around 160 nights a year in the past, but now I try to invest less time in fishing and instead focus on perfect preparation to ensure I catch very large fish again and again.

In 2016 I managed to catch one of the heaviest fish from North Rhine-Westphalia, which has not yet been beaten.

I am not a typical feed angler, but rather focus on choosing a good spot, which plays a crucial role for me personally.

The best way to learn is if you don't look too much at other anglers but do your own thing.
