About Rafael

I've been fishing since I was 6 years old and started carp fishing at the age of 14. I have always been fascinated by the big reservoirs and gravel pits. This is where I like to pursue the biggest carp in the waters and set myself special targets. I like to travel and have fished in many European countries. I particularly enjoy fishing waters that are not well known or frequented. The undiscovered excites me and I hope it stays that way for a long time!

Best piece of angling advice:

Location is key. Even if it takes a lot of time, you should look for the fish before you settle on a spot. You can always guess where the fish are, but only when you really know will you be able to catch them easily.
